Strategic Advisory Council
Advisor representation is an important aspect of the SFA community. The Strategic Advisory Council listens to you and actively seeks out your recommendations and ideas. Made up of a group of advisors both elected by the Field and appointed by the group on a yearly basis, and representing various types of business, geography, etc., this liaison group’s mission is to assist SFA and its stakeholders in building a premier independent financial services organization that fully supports your goals and needs and those of your clients.
Financial Services Institute (FSI)
SFA is a proud member of FSI and nearly all of our advisors are members as well. We find in FSI a strong ally on the advocacy front. FSI’s mission is to ensure that all individuals have access to competent and affordable financial advice, products, and services delivered by a growing network of independent financial advisors and independent financial services firms. FSI seeks to create a healthier, more business-friendly regulatory environment for its members. FSI is a strong voice for independent financial advisors and financial services firms such as SFA.
Women Leaders Network
The SFA Partners Women Leaders Network is a peer-to-peer forum for women advisors that addresses the need for a women-only dialogue in a particularly supportive environment for building relationships and sharing personal and business development strategies. Formulated and led by advisors, the group hosts in-person and virtual events that facilitate networking and sharing on a variety of topics including marketing and client retention, compensation and fees, client profitability, and mentorship.
